Manuscript of behavior
Potter couple moved to this land overlooking Manazuru Bay far away about 20 years ago. They bought an RC basement that is half buried on the slope and a two-story wooden second-hand house on top of it. Taking the opportunity for the two children to leave the house, they decided to rebuild the house, leaving the underground frame used as an atelier.
They have been creative and living in this place for a long time and ingrained with routine behavior, and our design this time was to observe it well and copy it as a new building (manuscript). As a result, the building volume is divided into long volumes from east to west, and the composition of a two-story main house that summarizes the private place and the lower house that contains the gallery (entrance) hall (living room) is led.
