For each building Franken Architecten have developed a concept that creates different, individual supplies of land and house types and that establish green and recreation areas. For the five plots varied, but formally similar designs were created. This is characterized by cubic structures which are rhythmically structered by straggered floors and which are differentiated in the vertical. Thus, the houses are airy in appearance. The multi-family houses take the basic shape of the semi-detached houses and fit very well into the constitution of the area. The high-quality design is performed in plaster surfaces with patterned brick and wooden elements that summarize each group of buildings. The open space design creates a homogeneous transition between private and public spaces.
