A new counter in Munich’s Ludwig Beck Department Store follows distinctive partnerships in Stuttgart, Bern and Lausanne. Employing measured restraint in material and palette, the central counter and surrounding shelving units are clad in soft-hued Reseda green powder coated metal, affording welcome respite from the busy surrounds. A streamlined countertop of dark Carrara marble affords the space contrast, while a vintage Louis Poulsen Panthella Table Lamp and a Hugues Steiner Bow-Wood No. 3 chair offer pleasing accents.
