A Room for Freya Stark
Via Regina Cornaro, Asolo, Italy
Traveler, explorer, writer, geographer, diplomat, polyglot: Freya Stark has been a thousand women in one. The challenge of telling such a complex personality inside the narrow boundaries of a room becomes a story in which is gathered an adventure of an entire life. Three chapters as a plot and path: the desk, her place of studies and writing down her memories; the threshold, a moment of crossing between the domestic life and the unknown dimension; the wardrobe, a sophisticated theatrical device which leads to the lands of his travels. The integration between real objects and technology involves the visitor in an interactive experience, aiming to a deeper comprehension.
