The commission was for design of a 60,000 sq ft commercial building, located on a premium shopping street of Hyderabad city. The project houses high-end commercial spaces,that includes 3 levels of basement parking, 3 floors of retail and 2 floors of offices.
A quiet interior courtyard on the third floor is carved out of the building block. The grand escalator/stair at the corner, draws in the street at ground level up into the courtyard; allowing for expansion of retail space into the third floor level. The court lets in sky, daylight and air, permitting the building to breathe. A water wall feature cascades into the court, finally terminating in the reflecting pool at the street level.
