Together with the Brandenburg Gates, Pariser Platz forms an urban ensemble that is developing again into the ‘Foyer of the Capital’ that it was before the Second World War. This building is the only bourgeois urban palace on the square. It has restaurants and shops along the street and offices and apartments on the upper floors. The façade complies with the design guidelines laid down for this location.
