The 4-star Hotel Steigenberger am Kanzleramt is part of the Lehrter Urban Quarter between the main railway station and the curve of the River Spree, on the western edge of Washingtonplatz. The four blocks of the quarter are understood as an urban unit which, although differentiated in terms of material and structure, appears as a single whole. Planned completion date is March 2014.
