The two vertically offset volumes with gable roofs are precisely set into the steeply sloping terrain and connected by a canopy and a covered seating area under the cantilevered garage. The main building stands at right angles to the slope and in turn cantilevers over the base in which the bedrooms are located. Since this runs lengthwise to the slope, a flat area is created above it, which is used as a terrace with a pool. The generously dimensioned structural openings and cantilevers reinforce the sculptural expression of the ensemble. The uniform materialization of concrete with fillings of glass and metal connects the individual parts of the building into a convincing whole.

Access via Sonneggstrasse is from above, past the garage via a staircase cut into the volume to the covered entrance. On the main floor are living, dining, kitchen, office, WC, reduit and wine cellar. The single-flight staircase behind the kitchen furniture leads to the basement floor with a garden in front. From the multifunctional vestibule with cabinet front, the other rooms such as room, shower, dressing room and bathroom are accessed. On the slope side are the cellar rooms.

The interior is dominated by a simple, reduced choice of materials. The open first floor facing the terrace and the view is divided by three floor-to-ceiling furniture with veneered wooden surfaces (wardrobe, kitchen, fireplace). Floors and ceilings are made of raw concrete, the walls provided with smooth plaster.
