Five Finalists for IHA 2018

As quoted in a statement from DAM on the finalists, the biennial IHA is "aimed at architects and developers whose buildings are at least 100 meters high and have been completed in the past two years." The jury examined 36 nominated projects to determine the 5 finalists based on the criteria: "future-oriented design, functionality, innovative building technology, integration into urban development schemes, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness."

The jury was chaired by Kai-Uwe Bergmann (BIG) and included Sean Anderson (MoMA), Jette Cathrin Popp (Snøhetta), Ulrike Lauber (lauber zottmann blank), Knut Stockhusen (schlaich bergermann partner), Ina Hartwig (Frankfurt), Thomas Schmengler (Deka Immobilien), and Peter Cachola Schmal (DAM).
