Canadian artists Caitlind r.c. Brown & Wayne Garrett have created installations, most notably CLOUD, from old incandescent bulbs. In a similar vein the duo realized NEW MOON for an arts festival in Lexington, Kentucky. NEW MOON is an interactive sculpture that exhibits the moon's phases, on display until the end of March.
Spring is a time of growth, as trees and plants bloom and explode with color. But as the days grow longer and the dark winter subsides, it's also a time for lighting festivals. In addition to the huge Light + Building fair in Frankfurt in late March, there is the i Light Marina Bayfestival taking place this month in Singapore. Canadian artists Caitlind r.c. Brown & Wayne Garrett are particpating in the latter with their CLOUD installation made from old incandescent bulbs.
