Cixi is located at the northeast part of Zhejiang Province. The urban space of the city appears in a low density and non-single-center mode, covering the whole plain area with an endless pattern of city, village, and factory. The project of Culture and Business District aimed to build here a destination with adequate centralization. In the urban design, many spatial typologies, building forms, as well as images from high density global cities were taken as paradigms.
