Els Erals - El Secà de Balaguer, Balaguer (Lleida), Spain
Project in collaboration with Eduard Bru, architect.
This is an extension to the city of Balaguer. Something more than connecting infrastructures or the value of the landscape, mixed different social groups, an union between city an nature from the public space conceiving, a Mediterranean dense city origin that expects the street as the social activity place, and a landscape conception related to the urban plan scale.
Of course, it is required a hyper specificity for the site, which is taken from geography and topography in its shaping and with the urban continuity.
This new area at Balaguer wants to interweave with the existing city while it gets in the landscape like a wedge.
