Tublà da Nives
Selva di Val Gardena, Italy
The historical “Nives Barn“ dating from around the 17th century was formerly in the possession of a count family. The barn was rebuilt in 2010 according to today's technology as a timber structure using the old beams. The wish of the local government was to create an additional outbuilding. We decided to build a cubic glass construction to provide a showcase for the adjacent barn. So the building maintains a constant dialogue with passers-by.
The “Nives Barn“ is an extraordinary ambiance for different events including talks, exhibitions and music.
