Z House
Zhongshan, China
We wanted to prove good simple design with nature in mind is possible even with limited space and small budget. This is a three-storey building containing a shop and 5 flats on a small budget. With simplicity and nature in mind, rear flats have long balconies with panoramic views and all share a rooftop garden. The roof's parapet walls facing the street is pulled up to increase privacy and shading for the rooftop garden.
