Food Processing Unit
Bagalur, India
Hygiene considerations for the main factory process hall design include a suspended roof cladding system, which eliminates hard to clean roof trusses from the interior.
A warm domestic feel is given to the approach route leading to sterile process halls; not only by the change in scale provided by the low undulating roof but also through materials used, echoing the architecture of surrounding villages.
Natural light is introduced to the interior through skylights while the double skin roof insulates the space.
